The Venue

Where Houston hosts the world.

The George R. Brown anchors the east side of downtown with exhibit halls that swallow trade shows whole, a general assembly theater, dozens of meeting rooms and Discovery Green right out the front doors. Two headquarters hotels connect to it by skybridge, which means a citywide conference here never really leaves the block. Events at the GRB are measured in badge counts, not guest lists, and the film plan has to respect that scale.

We shoot convention centers the way organizers actually run them. Keynotes take a clean feed from your AV vendor so the audio arrives broadcast grade. The show floor gets a roaming team on gimbals, no cables and no light stands in the aisles, moving like credentialed attendees instead of a film unit. Breakouts, sponsor lounges and poster halls get scheduled passes so every contracted deliverable is captured without a second visit.

Houston's convention calendar runs from energy and medicine to one of the biggest pop culture festivals in Texas, and each show has its own rhythm. We build the coverage plan from your run of show, hold a same-day edit lane open for closing sessions, and deliver sponsor cutdowns while exhibitors are still breaking down their booths. By the time your attendees clear the airport, the recap is already selling next year's registration.

Field Notes

How we work the district.

AV vendor friendly

We advance with your production company before load-in: soundboard feeds, stage access, rigging rules and screen sightlines, all agreed in writing.

Floor-safe kit

Compact cinema rigs, fast lenses for hall lighting, zero cable runs. Exhibitors notice the energy in the film, not the crew in their aisle.

Skybridge fluent

Sessions at the GRB, receptions at the connected hotels, dinner on Discovery Green. We schedule crew movement so nothing on the program goes uncovered.

Good to Know

Asked and answered.

Yes, that is the core of our calendar. Each day's hours price separately in our quote builder, and deliverables can include per-day recaps, sponsor cutdowns and social verticals posted while the show floor is still open.

Yes. Our same-day option puts an editor to work while sessions run, producing a polished cut that plays in the general session, usually to the loudest applause of the day.

Happily. Sponsor packages are often what pays for the film, so we capture contracted booth features, lounge activations and logo moments on a checklist, then deliver per-sponsor edits they can post themselves.
